Affiliate Recruiter (sales)

This position's primary responsibility is to identify and recruit web publishers to participate in Focalex's multiple affiliate programs. The Recruiter may also assist in developing marketing collateral and promotional materials to drive new prospects.

Primary Duties:

• Identify, attract, and manage publishers through implementation of Focalex products lines
• Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion of affiliates and ad inventory
• Build and maintain relationships in a network of web publishers

Responsibilities:

• Prospect for new publishers, as well as work with existing lead sources, including cold/warm calling on publishers
• Work with Distribution department to create promotions via postal mail, email, and other sources to recruit publishers
• Assist in develop of collateral materials (web and print based) for the recruitment of publishers

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree
• Direct experience with Internet advertising and/or affiliate programs
• Inside sales experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills,
• Existing publisher contacts a plus
• Knowledge of Excel and HTML a plus

Expectations:

Successful candidates will have:
• Online advertising experience
• Familiarity and understanding of affiliate programs and affiliate marketing
• Proven track record of building business Confidence and comfort on the phone and in person when meeting new people and opening new relationships
